Objective: Planting seeds of numerous naturally grown plants at abandoned fertile land beside the North-East railway track.
Places covered: The plantation starts from the Malda railway station to the Kamakhya via New Jalpaiguri and the areas of Dooars. It is around 600 km up and down.
Major activities:
Planting seeds in the fertile land; Awareness campaign among the railway passengers at train and railway stations; involving the local people to the program; distribution of the seeds among the local public. Survey on the probability and possibility of the germination of the seeds during monsoon.
