Green Campaign Phase 3
Objective: Planting seeds of numerous naturally grown plants at abandoned fertile land beside the railway track.
Places covered: The plantation starts from the Seoraphuli Junction to the Arambagh Station (to and fro) via Howrah-Arambag local train. It is around 128 km up and down.
Major activities:
Spreading seeds in the fertile land; Awareness campaign among the railway passengers at train; involving the local people to the program; distribution of the seeds among the local public. Survey on the probability and possibility of the germination of the seeds during monsoon.
