His adventures have seen him climb in Greenland, race on the highest mountain of Europe, cycle across Africa, discover mountain ranges in Yunnan and glaciers in the Himalayas, follow the fictional character Shankar's trail in Africa to the 'Mountains of the Moon'.
But nothing excites him more than making friends in far off lands. Nothing inspires him more than a casual chat with a stranger in a foreign land or a tea shop in rural Bengal.
He believes that the spirit of adventure can actually help, bring people together from across the globe, build bridges and not walls.
On 17th December, 2016, Raja talks about the humanity, humility and survival learnt during a lifetime of adventure.
No, he doesn't talk about the 'what' and 'why' of adventure, done many times by his peers.
'Stories from the Other Side' is a collection of Anindya's memories. He will talk about the mountains that he climbed, and those that left him awe struck from the Other Side of the glacier. He will introduce you to the friends that he made on the road, and the ones that he hopes to make on the Other Side of the globe. He will share the memories that keep him going, and those that he hopes to make in the future and reflect on them from some Other Sides, because a life of adventure is worth living and actually achievable.
