Five Russian climbers were found dead on the summit ridge of Dhaulagiri

Five Russian climbers who went missing on October 6 while attempting to summit Mt. Dhaulagiri have been confirmed dead.
The rescue helicopter identified the bodies at an elevation of 7,100 meters, as confirmed by Mingma Sherpa, the Director of Heli Everest, who manages the search operation. It is thought that the climbers fell from a height of 7,600 meters. The search mission, conducted by a Prabhu Helicopter under the command of senior captain Sobit Gauchan, took place above 7,000 meters.
According to Pemba Jangbu Sherpa, Managing Director of I AM Trekking & Expedition, climbers Alexander Dusheyko, Oleg Kruglov, Vladimir Chistikov, Mikhail Nosenko, and Dmitrii Shpilevoi lost contact after leaving the high camp at 6:00 AM to make their summit attempt. The Himalayan Times reported that their last communication with fellow climbers at base camp was around 11:00 AM.
