Poorna Malavath from India became the youngest female to stand on the summit of Everest

Malavath Purna, aged 13 years and 11 months became the youngest girl to scale the Mt. Everest. She was born at Pakala Village, Nizambad district of Telengana state of India on 10th June 2000. She along with Anand began the hike on April 12 from Tibet, China. Both reached the summit of Everest of 25 May 2014.
