Team Giripremi completes Ice-climbing training, aims to climb Meru

A team of experienced climbers of Giripremi has planned an expedition to Mt. Meru in the Uttarakhand region in the month of May or June 2023.
The team has been training rigorously for the past years. Recently two team members of the expedition team, named Pawan Hadole and Varun Bhagwat completed ice-climbing training in the Spiti region of Himachal Pradesh. Technical equipment such as Ice axes, Crampons, Ice Screws, ropes, helmets, and Special Mountaineering boots are used by the climbers to ascend on 80-90 degree vertical ice walls.
