Winter 2019: K2, Nanga Parbat & Manaslu update

K2
1. A 7 members International (Kazakhstan-Russian-Kyrgyzstan) team, led by Vassiliy Pivtsov, aiming to summit K2 this winter via Abruzzi route, have already arrived in Pakistan and left for K2 Base Camp. The team consists of 3 Kazakhstani members (Vassiliy Pivtsov - Leader, Dmitry Muraviov, Tursunali Aubakirov), 3 Russian members (Artem Brown - Project Organizer, Roman Abildaev, Konstantin Shepelin), and 1 member from Kyrgyzstan (Mikhail Danichkin).
2. A 4 members Spanish-Galician team, led by Alex Txikon, aiming to summit K2 this winter, arrived Skardu yesterday and left Skardu today morning for Base Camp. The team consists of 1 Galician member (Felix Criado), 2 Polish members (Marek Klonowski, Paweł Dunaj) and 1 Spanish member (Alex Txikon - Leader).
Nanga Parbat
A 4 members team, led by Daniele Nardi, aiming to summit Nanga Parbat this winter via a new route on Mummery's Spur, arrived at Camp-2 (5200m). The team consists of 1 British member (Thomas Ballard), 2 Pakistani members (Rahmat Ullah Baig, Karim Hayat) and 1 Italian member (Daniele Nardi - Leader). Daniele and Rahmat Ullah are now at Camp-2 and will try to reach Camp-3 tomorrow. Thomas and Karim returned to Base Camp.
Manaslu
Italian alpinist Simone Moro with Pemba Gyalje Sherpa, aiming to summit Manaslu this winter via normal route without supplemental oxygen in alpine style; also summited Mera Peak for acclimatization on 5th January, 2019.
